Stockton Council's Community Safety Team are winners of 'Most valued contribution to Arson Prevention' July 2007
Alan Wright, who chaired the judging panel and presented the award, said:
" The Community Safety Team at Stockton on Tees were very worthy winners of this award and are doing a job which is simply priceless to the people of Stockton. The team's excellent work is reducing anti-social behaviour and giving every citizen of the town a much better quality of life. It's not just about stopping anti-social behaviour, it's also about giving the culprits a chance to change and helping them to achieve this. Stockton would be a lot poorer without the work of this marvellous team."
