STOCKTON Council's Anti-Social Behaviour Team has, today, successfully secured a 2 year Criminal Anti-Social Behaviour Order (CRASBO) at Teesside Magistrates Court, against 18 year-old Thomas Kane Parker*.
Parker has a history of violet and anti-social behaviour which includes assaults and criminal damage and previously signed an Acceptable Behaviour Contract in 2004, following a series of anti-social behaviour.
Parker has already appeared at Teesside Magistrates Court after he was involved in a serious assault on an off-duty police officer at the end of March at Ingleby Barwick. The officer was knocked unconscious, suffering head and facial injuries including concussion.
The court have granted, as part of the Order, that Parker is prohibited from:-
(i) Behaving in any way that intimidates or seeks to intimidate one or more persons not of the same household as himself.
(ii) Behaving in a manner, which causes, or is likely to cause, harassment, alarm or distress to one or more persons not of the same household as himself.
(iii) Using or inciting others to use threatening, insulting or abusive words or behaviour in any place within the Cleveland Police area to which the public have access.
(iv) Interfering with, or impeding in any way, the operations of the Police, Police Community Support Officers, Enforcement Officers, or any other emergency service provider.

(v) Congregating in public with other associates known to Stockton Council's Anti-Social Behaviour Team unless required to do so in the course of attending any court of law, any Police premises or at the direction of the Probation Service, or Youth Offending Service.
(vi) Possessing an open container of alcohol in a public place.
(vii) Being drunk in a public place.
(viii) Entering the designated exclusion zone of the Myton House retail area, Ingleby Barwick, save for attending pre-arranged medical or legal appointments, or when travelling on public transport.
Councillor Paul Kirton, Stockton Council's Cabinet Member for Community Safety and Protection, said: "We will not tolerate violent and abusive behaviour in the Borough of Stockton and we will have no hesitation in stamping down hard on those who think they can get away with it.
"Most people want to go about their business in a clean and safe environment and we will use every power at our disposal to ensure that they can do just that."
