  • Although Stockton is the largest district in the Tees Valley with a population increase from 186,000 to approximately 192,150 over the last seven years (2004/05 -2010/11)  crime rate has slashed by 50%!

  • Stockton falls 22.7% below the regional average for crime and 50.2% below Middlesbrough! ( 2010/11)

  • In the year 2003/04 Stockton had 20,534 recorded crimes but in 2010/11 the total was down to 10,832 crime, that's over 9,500 less crimes!
